Reimagine Recovery is a therapeutic private practice taking an integrative approach through combing creative, strength based approaches with evidence based clinical skills and techniques to help individuals along their recovery paths. Through a proactive approach, the clinician and client will identify interventions that will be used to address the challenges and barriers standing between the client and personal freedom.

Although, Linda has experience in treating individuals in recovery from a broad range of clinical disorders*, she has a passion and specialty in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and are in recovery from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Additionally she has a vested interest in working with individuals who have been living with Generalized Anxiety, Obsessive Thinking, Compulsive Behaviors, Relational Issues and/or difficulties related to Acculturation.

*Additional areas of clinical focus and experience include: Affective Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorders

Linda's clinical background includes experience serving as the clinical director of a mental health outpatient clinic in which she provides clinical supervision to licensed clinicians working with individuals diagnosed with a broad range of mental health disorders including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Affective Disorders, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Linda has extensive experience in the management of residential programs which offer services to individuals diagnosed with mental illness to support their reintegration into community based living after having experienced homelessness, psychiatric hospitalization, or adult home residency.

Through her experience in working in the social service sector, Linda has gained a thorough understanding of New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH)  program compliance and regulation requirements for Article 31 clinics and OMH Licensed residential programs.  As the program director of clinical and residential programs, Linda has gained experience in successful strategic planning and implementation of processes to foster organizational, operational, and leadership growth and development.

Linda has a passion for both continuing to learn and for sharing what she's learned with colleagues in the field. As a result, she has spent time collaborating with other clinicians to create and facilitate training workshops for licensed clinicians and program administrators  including the "Fostering Empathy through Understanding Negative Symptom Manifestation in a Residential Setting" workshop which was presented at the ACLAIMH Conference and the "Working with Child Sexual Abuse Survivors" workshop which was presented for  the Staten Island Chapter of the New York Mental Health Counseling Association (NYMHCA). In addition to her work as a private practice clinician, Linda continues to develop group therapy workshops, skill training workshops, self-improvement workshops, and leadership development workshops.
